Emissions Zero is pleased to welcome Qiu Shuangping as the most recent member of our team.
Qiu has considerable experience in the carbon markets, having previously worked in the CDM team at Datang Power Corporation, one of the top 5 power generation firms in China. Qiu also holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in electrical engineering from the prestigious Shanghai Jiaotong university. He therefore brings considerable technical skills as well as a deep understanding of the Chinese business environment to the Emissions Zero team.

China’s First Small Scale Gold Standard project
Emissions Zero is proud to offer credits from China’s first small scale Gold Standard hydro project, the Nanyangshan hydro power plant, located in Gansu Province. The project will bring substantial environmental, social and economic benefits to Linxia prefecture, the village in which it was built. The area is one of the poorest in China with residents earning an average annual income of 2000 RMB (approximately 292 USD).
